Quick Questions: Turnaround/Delivery
What is your turnaround time?
Turnaround times vary for different products. For our most popular products (leaflets, business cards, stationery etc.) we despatch on the fourth working day for delivery on the fifth.
Turnaround times are shown on each product page on our website, or can be obtained by calling 01457 778404.
Orders received and paid for by 11am will be processed the same day, so that day will count as day one of the turnaround.
Orders which begin processing after 11am will start their turnaround time on the following working day.
For example, an order for 5,000 leaflets received and paid for before 11am
on a Monday will be despatched on the Thursday for delivery on Friday. If
the order is received after 11am, the first day of processing will be Tuesday,
meaning a despatch date of Friday and a delivery date of Monday. (This illustration
assumes that none of the days is a public holiday).
I need a product more quickly than your advertised turnaround time; what can you do?
We offer priority turnaround on some products which can halve the time, but naturally this costs more as we must set up your job specially on press to achieve this quicker turnaround.
If you think you may need a faster turnaround please call us as soon as you can, even if your artwork is not ready, on 01457 778404 so that we can allocate press space.
What carriage options do you offer?
We use overnight FedEx and City Link for the majority of our deliveries. We charge carriage at cost, based on the weight of your combined order. We do not charge for packaging materials.
For very small orders we offer Royal Mail first-class post, but this is not a guaranteed service and should not be used for time-sensitive print.

Do you offer morning/Saturday deliveries?
Yes; although our couriers make additional charges for these services. You can choose for delivery on a working day before 12noon, before 10.30am or before 9.00am; and on a Saturday before 1.00pm.

Where do you deliver to?
We deliver throughout mainland UK and to the Highlands of Scotland, although our couriers charge extra for certain Highland areas.
We regret we cannot deliver to the Republic of Ireland or the Channel Islands; for delivery to addresses here you will need to use a freight forwarding company.
We do supply to customers overseas but you will need to organise your own courier collection from our print plant.
Can you deliver to my place of work?
Yes. Providing our couriers can obtain a signature on delivery, we can deliver to any address you specify in our delivery area (please see above).
Can you deliver under plain cover?
Yes. We deliver all packages under plain cover with no identifying labels or boxes showing the work originated from Plain-Talk Print.
Plain cover deliveries allow you to order print on behalf of a client and have the work delivered straight to them as if it originated from you, without the expense of having to repackage the work and organise a second delivery.
